Dear ArgenGrowther,

Every week, we present the key data from the past week and delve into various aspects of our beloved Argentina to assess their impact, understand what's happening, and make better decisions. The newsletter is divided into four main sections:

  1. Brief Reflection

  2. Data

  3. Understanding What's Happening in Detail

  4. Actionable Items

Mini Reflection

The country keeps dancing to the rhythm of the IMF deal. The market is getting impatient, but the government isn’t. The Minister of Economy steps out to clarify things, but the market keeps doing its own thing, waiting for fresh dollars. Meanwhile, the Central Bank sells dollars, and the main harvest hasn't yet arrived.

Reality will be shaped by the IMF deal and the Central Bank’s reserves — that’s the real question, to be or not to be.

The real economy keeps moving forward and doesn’t care what outsiders say. Activity is booming, and, for now, it is ignoring the dynamics of the financial dollar.

Lithium and Vaca Muerta are still the talk of the town, and expectations are becoming a reality. Will Argentina become a highway for doing business and show the world it has the answers for the growth path? Are we getting closer? Today, we’re still waiting for the “yes.”

I launched my renewed website! Have you visited it yet?

Is Argentina's Economic Shift Positive or Negative?

Spoiler alert: Meh. Activity is flying, but the market is skeptical. Real rates are negative again, and the government is celebrating.
